The next Agri-Investment Symposium will be held on June 27 in Toronto, Ontario. Now known as the Agri-Investment Forum, the symposium will continue to bring agri-businesses together with potential investors through the industry-leadership of Critical Path Group.

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is pleased to have founded and supported this initiative in its early stages and is confident in the greater role industry-leadership will play in agriculture sector innovation. The Promoting Agri-Based Investment Opportunities initiative supports a series of national events to bring agri-businesses together with potential investors to:

  • attract private sector investment to support the development and commercialization of new agri-practices, products and processes;
  • provide a better understanding of risks and opportunities among both entrepreneurs and potential investors; and
  • share information about opportunities and challenges in agri-based business ventures.

Agri-entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to present their new products, practices and processes to a targeted audience of private investors.

The Agri-Investment Symposia are delivered through the Promoting Agri-Based Investment Opportunities intiative of the Growing Canadian Agri-Innovations Program under Growing Forward.
