The Agricultural Bioproducts Innovation Program (ABIP) was a multi-year program to mobilize Canada's creative talent in academia, the private and public sectors and integrate resources to build greater research capacity in agricultural bioproducts and bioprocesses.

Through ABIP funded networks, the program promoted research, development, technology transfer and commercialization activities in areas such as biofuels, other forms of bioenergy, industrial chemicals, biomaterials, and health products. ABIP involved 36 universities, 52 industry groups and 19 governments.

See "Innovations from the Agricultural Bioproducts Innovation Program" for activities and progress made by the ABIP networks.
