Organic Industry Development Program

This is a comprehensive program designed to accelerate the adoption of certified organic production and processing technology; encourage strategic growth and market development; and implement competitive weed and pest management practices.

The Organic Industry Development Program is comprised of three components:

• Organic Value Chain Development
• Organic Farm Advancement Program
• Organic Agro-environmental Program

This program will help support the innovative capacity of farmers by providing funds to farmers or groups of farmers to support investments in the development of organic agriculture. This will contribute to on-farm profitability and competitiveness as well as helping disseminate knowledge gained through implementation of this program.
