Technology Transfer and Licensing
Introduction
Generating new ideas and transforming them into products with real benefits for Canadians is a priority of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Research Branch. Partnering with industry promotes the movement of AAFC technologies into the marketplace. Companies interested in licensing AAFC owned intellectual property can view our current technology licensing opportunities.
We also provide information on terms and conditions relating to commercialization licenses and the model and template agreements we use to develop, evaluate or transfer new technologies.
Agriculture and Agri-food Canada's Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization (OIPC) is responsible and accountable for the development and administration of all processes and procedures regarding the identification, protection and deployment of AAFC's intellectual property.
Detailed information on Intellectual Property procedures is available as well as the AAFC IP Decision-Making Manual.
