• Evaluating practices for reducing GHG emissions
• Quantifying and predicting ammonia and particulate matter exchanges from livestock facilities
• Understanding odour formation/removal associated with livestock and food-processing industries.
• Increase understanding of the fundamental processes determining the on-farm fate of pathogens, organic contaminants, and nutrients.
• Develop new treatment technologies for organic wastes to enhance their economic value, conserve nitrogen and reduce phosphorus content, and minimize the environmental and health risks of the product.
