• Développement et utilisation de la résistance durable à la cécidomyie du blé chez toutes les classes de blé cultivé dans des zones propices à cette maladie et élaboration de méthodes de recherche afin d'utiliser des cultivars résistants pour ainsi réduire les risques qu'un insecte surmonte la résistance
• Développement de blés blancs semblables au blé de force blanc australien utilisé pour les nouilles asiatiques et d'autres produits alimentaires
