Areas of Expertise:

  • Development of feeding stratages for improving feed efficiency and production of dairy and beef cattle
  • Evaluating requirements of physically effective fibre and ruminal fermentability of feeds to reduce rumen acidosis
  • Developing novel feed additives such as plant-derived compounds, feed enzymes and rare earth elements as rumen modifiers to reduce the use of antibiotics and growth promotors in cattle production;
