  • Development of a 2 species cDNA microarray for transcription profiling of pig and dairy cattle reproductive traits
  • Development of new genomic tools to improve meat quality traits and production efficiency in pigs. (Swine Cluster)
  • Nutrigenomics: use of compensatory feeding regimes in gestation to modulate expression of candidate genes involved in mammary development and lactation potential
  • Nutrigestation: Use of compensatory feeding regimes in prepuberty to stimulate mammary development of gilts via modulations in the expression of candidate genes
  • Dietary fatty acids and productivity of dairy cows
  • Interaction between antioxidant and polyunsaturated fatty acids on the oxidative status of dairy cows and milk quality
