  • Evaluate the influence of agricultural practices on greenhouse gas emissions and soil quality; identify farming practices that minimize greenhouse gas emissions and maintain or enhance soil quality; improve or develop methodologies for measuring and assessing greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural soils

  • Economics and non-renewable energy use effciency of tillage, fertilizer, and alternative crop management practices in the semiarid prairies.
  • Innovative Approaches to Land Management to Improve Nitrogen Management at the Field Level.
